V Neck

Most people pick a garment on colour and fabric and never think about the neck. It is the detail closest to the face though, which makes it the one people notice first in a photograph or across a counter. A v neck opens the line of the collarbone and reads a little less uniform than a crew.

It suits anything layered, because the neckline sits neatly under a shirt collar or an open jacket without bunching. Hospitality and front of house teams tend to prefer it for that reason. It also photographs well on staff profile shots, which matters more than you would expect if the team is going on a website.

The open neckline moves your usable print area down the chest. A centred design that sits perfectly on a crew can end up crowding the v on this cut, so we usually drop the placement slightly. For a left chest logo nothing changes at all.
