What should you know before ordering kids' merch?

Junior sizing runs across a wide age range, so the most useful thing you can do before ordering is collect actual sizes rather than guessing from ages. We can supply a size chart to send around.

Which print methods suit kids' garments?

Screen printing and DTF both work well and hold up through the wash. For anything worn by younger kids we would generally steer away from heavy, stiff prints across the chest in favour of something softer to the touch.

How do you order for a group of kids?

Collect actual sizes rather than working from ages. Junior sizing varies enormously between brands, and a size 10 in one range can be a size 12 in another. We can supply a size chart to send out to families, which saves a great deal of swapping later.

How well does kids' merch hold up in the wash?

Kids' garments get worn hard and washed constantly. Screen printing and DTF both hold up well. What does not hold up is a cheap blank, which goes shapeless after a season regardless of how good the print is.

Can we order kids' and adults' with the same design?

Yes, and it is very common for clubs and family events. The artwork is usually scaled down for the smaller sizes so the print stays in proportion.

Are the prints safe on children's clothing?

The inks and films we use are standard for children's apparel. If you have a specific requirement to meet, tell us and we will confirm before printing.

What is the best garment for a school or club?

A mid weight cotton tee for warm months and a fleecy hoodie for winter covers most needs. Polos suit anything that needs to look tidier.
