Workwear gets treated harder than any other merch. It is worn every day, washed constantly and expected to still look presentable in front of customers. That is why we stick to trade grade brands rather than the cheapest blank we can find.
For most crews, embroidery on polos and jackets and screen printing on tees and hi vis gives the best balance of cost and durability. We can advise on the mix once we know what your team actually wears day to day.
Does branding affect hi vis compliance?
If your site requires compliant hi vis, tell us before you order. Adding a print or embroidery to a compliant garment can affect its rating depending on placement, and it is far easier to plan that in at the start than to redo a run.
How does reordering work when you put on new staff?
We keep your artwork and setup on file, so putting on new staff later does not mean paying setup costs again or hoping the colours still match.
How do you kit out a crew from scratch?
If you are starting a uniform from nothing, the order that works best is usually polos for customer facing work, hi vis for site, a jacket for winter and a couple of tees per person for the hot months. Buying it in one go rather than piecemeal keeps the branding identical and the price per unit lower.
The most common mistake is ordering only what people need this month. Six weeks later you are paying setup costs again for four more shirts.
Where should the logo go across a uniform?
Left chest is the default and works on nearly everything. A back print across the shoulders is worth adding on site gear, because that is the view a customer or passer by actually gets while your team is working. Sleeve prints suit a secondary mark or a phone number.
Do you supply the garments, or can I send my own?
We normally supply, which means we can guarantee the stock and the sizing. Talk to us before sending your own garments, since some fabrics do not take a print or an embroidery well.
What happens when we put on new staff?
