A branded polo is smart enough for a customer facing role and comfortable enough to work in, which is why it is the most common uniform we decorate. An embroidered left chest logo is the standard, and it holds up through years of washing.

Men's and women's cuts fit very differently across the shoulder and waist. Ordering a single unisex run is cheaper up front but usually means half the team never wears theirs. We can quote a mixed run so everyone gets something that fits.

Traditional pique cotton looks smart and feels substantial, but it holds sweat and takes a while to dry. Polyester and cool dry fabrics wick moisture and keep their shape through constant washing, which is why most trade and hospitality teams end up there. Cotton rich blends sit in between and suit an office setting.

Mid to dark colours hide marks and last visibly longer between washes. White and pale grey look sharp for a fortnight and then start showing every coffee. If your team works with their hands, choose accordingly.

If you want people to actually wear the uniform, yes. The shoulder and body shape differ enough that a unisex only order usually leaves part of the team uncomfortable.

Around 8 to 10cm wide suits most logos on a left chest. Bigger starts to look like a promo shirt rather than a uniform, smaller loses any fine detail once it is stitched.

Many styles come with contrast tipping already. It is an easy way to pick up a second brand colour without paying for extra decoration.
