Print or embroider?
Embroidery on the front panel is the classic look. Printing opens up all over patterns and full colour artwork if you want something louder. Both work, it comes down to the design.
Reversible, wide brim or standard?
A standard bucket hat is the everyday option and the cheapest to brand. Reversible styles give you two looks in one and let you carry a second colourway. Wider brim versions offer more genuine sun cover, which matters if these are going to people working or spectating outdoors all day.
How do bucket hats size up?
Bucket hats generally come in small/medium and large/extra large rather than one size. For an event giveaway, ordering roughly two thirds L/XL usually lands about right.
Where does the logo go?
The front panel of the crown is standard and reads well from a distance. A small brim or side embroidery is a nice secondary touch and reads as more considered than a single big front logo.
Can we print an all over pattern?
Yes, though it means printing the fabric before the hat is made, so it needs a longer lead time and a higher minimum than adding a logo to a stock hat.
Cotton or polyester?
Cotton feels better and suits merch. Polyester and ripstop dry faster and hold shape better, which suits anything near water or heavy sweat.
