Most orders that come through here start with a tee. It suits nearly every use, staff uniform, event merch, club gear and giveaways, and it is the easiest garment to print well.

Heavier cotton holds a screen print crisply and feels more substantial, which is why it is the default for retail style merch. Lighter blends are cooler to wear and better for anything active. Performance fabrics need a different print approach, so tell us if they are going to be worn in the heat.

Tee fabric is measured in grams per square metre. Around 150 to 160 is light and cool, good for events and hot work. Around 180 is the everyday standard. Above 200 feels substantial and hangs properly, which is what you want if the shirt is being sold rather than given away.

Classic fit is roomy through the body and suits the widest range of people. Modern or slim fit sits closer and reads more contemporary but is less forgiving across a mixed group. For a team order, classic is usually the safer call.

A properly cured screen print should not. Cracking is usually a sign of under curing or too much ink laid down, which is a process problem rather than something inherent to printing.

Dark garments need a white underbase so the colours stay true, which adds a print step. It is completely standard and simply worth knowing when comparing quotes.
