Plastic, metal or eco pen?
Plastic pens are the volume option for events and reception desks. Metal pens feel considerably better and suit client meetings and gift packs. Recycled and bamboo options suit organisations that need their merch to line up with what they say publicly.
What makes a pen get kept rather than binned?
How it writes. A pen that skips gets binned no matter whose logo is on it, and it takes a small amount of goodwill with it. Weight helps too, which is why a metal pen outperforms a plastic one at a client meeting even though both carry the same print.
Which ink should you choose, and can pens be refilled?

Realistically a business name and either a phone number or a website. Trying to fit all three usually means none of them are readable.

Are eco pens worth it?
